We spend over a year attempting to select a floor plan and a builder, and fortunate for us we found you and Premier Builders of Buford, Georgia. Because of you and your employees, we are most proud of our new home, and it has quickly become a showplace in our community.
My wife and I spent countless hours looking for all accessories, colors and styles for our ‘final’ home, and you and your staff of highly qualified and helpful experts made the complete process and experience easier from day one. From painters, floor specialists to earth-moving equipment your people were easy to work with and had great recommendations along the way. You provided financial quotes and estimates throughout the process that kept us on or near our budget and your ideas and ‘what you would do’ recommendations helped greatly.
As one might imagine, building that final home can be a cumbersome task, but thanks to you and your staff, we are settled, satisfied and very proud of our new home. I would highly recommend your company to anyone considering building even in these austere times. Over the course of our adult life, we have had the opportunity to build three differenthomes. Each home was constructed by a different builder, and each process has resulted in a positive experience. While this is the case, our most recent experience has been by far the most personally rewarding. | affectionately share more details about the experience with Robert Bowman and Premier Home Builders.
At the time we were preparing to build our current home in Jefferson my husband was the Assistant Police Chief in Jefferson. As he was traveling around town, he visited a new subdivision being built by Premier Home Builders called Bryceland Manor. We were in the final stages of securing a builder for the land we had purchased when Dave had the pleasure of meeting Robert Bowman. Within hours we were both walking through the model home and exploring homes being built. We were instantly impressed with the quality, attention to detail and observable personal touch added to each home being built.
As we continued our conversation with Robert Bowman, it was evident he was the right choice for our construction project. Unlike some building experiences, Robert Bowman was “hands on”. He was our point of contact from the beginning to the end. He listened to understand our needs and then applied his knowledge of the building process to ensure the final product matched our vision for ourcustom home. One example of this from the beginning was how he measured the elevation of the land and the angle of the house to ensure that when you walk in our front door you have a clear view of the lake sitting behind our house. I can remember us watching as he completed calculations and then when he arrived at the answer he smiled saying “This is the money shot”. He was not wrong. Every time | walk in my front door remember that day and smile because yes indeed Robert Bowman, you nailed the money shot.
Robert Bowman is not afraid of trying something new, or something he hasn’t done before. We made the decision not to build our home on a basement so instead we installed a storm shelter in our garage. He embraced this addition and worked to ensure itwas incorporated into the
framing of the garage floor.
A few years after we moved in, Robert Bowman addeda carport on the existing structure, along with a changing room for our pool and storage area. This project took minimal time and added additional functional space to our home as well as curb appeal by ensuring the addition looked as if it were part of the original construction.
We have been in our home for 9 years. This home has sheltered us through hurricane force winds, power outages in the freezing cold, excessive heat and freezing cold temperatures. Our home through its quality instruction has been a safe haven for my husband and I along with our
two children. This quality above all others is probably the piece that is worth the most to our family. While we have had to do some minor upkeep over the years, the quality of the products used to construct our home has resulted in minimal maintenance.
Our experience can best be summarized with Robert Bowman’s honesty and integrity that accompanies the building process when you choose Premier Home Builders to build your next project. I still possess the sheet of paper where Robert Bowman wrote down all prices and
adjustments based on modifications made to the building plan. This sheet of paper was never transformed into a contract, but instead began and ended with a handshake deal. I am sure
Robert Bowman does not typically conduct business this way but it definitely exemplifies his character, commitment to his customers and the value he places on his craftsmanship involved in the building process.
Robert Bowman takes seriously the individuals/companies he chooses to do business with. Robert understands the importance of the service they provide in determining the value of the finished product. These companies are still in business and ones we reach out to if there is something that needs to be fixed or replaced.
Over the years we have stayed in touch with Robert Bowman as aresult of the relationship we built during the construction of our home. Each time he asks about our house, if we are having any problems and each time we have had the pleasure of reminding him just how much it means to us that we have the opportunity to be living where we are.
Outside of building, Robert Bowman is an integral member of the community he serves. He sponsors holiday meals for Law Enforcement in our community and continually looks for opportunities to give back. He is an honorable man whose work ethic, knowledge and experience make choosing his company as your builder a decision you will not regret.
